Hilton Head Island is one of the premier vacation destinations on the East Coast. It is also a perfect place to skate in a fun, relaxed environment.

Hilton Head is a five mile by 12 mile island off the coast of South Carolina famous for its beaches, southern culture, and fantastic services. For skaters, the island also has a private rink we reserve for our instruction, 23 miles of public paved pathways, and another 15 miles of private paved trails in the resort community where we stay.

This Camp & Mini Tour has two goals: improve your skating and have fun doing it. We have a mix of instructional sessions taught by our professional instructors, who are some of the best in the world at what they do, and skating for fun on the pathways to practice your skills. We start with the absolute basics and develop your skills from there. For those of you who already skate but need work on your skills, we'll help you master your stride, turning, and - most importantly - braking. In addition to skating we bike, kayak, and relax on the beach - all part of Camp and not requiring any experience at all.

Notes
We have an $1,200 option for friends and family who wish to join you but don't want to participate in the skating. There is plenty else to do on Hilton Head and these folks will join us in meals and non-skating activities.

Accommodations
Our lodging on Hilton Head is the Sea Pines Resort, which offers not only fantastic villas but a separate trail system just for visitors of the resort. Our villas are two-bedroom units with either one or two beds per room, allowing us to house up to four people per villa. Our participants agree this is an excellent way to share the joy of learning to skate with your compatriots while still having enough personal space.
