Our Quebec Skate Tour offers excellent inline skating (or Rollerblading). We start by shuttling north from Montreal to a beauty of a trail, the 200-kilometer long Le P'tit Train du Nord, a converted railroad route that winds through the forests and lakes of Quebec's northwoods. (Don't worry, we won't require you to skate the entire trail - only 94 kilometers are actually paved!)

After two days up north, we head back and stop near the town of Granby to skate on the L'Estriade and Granbyenne trails. The following day we skate on Montreal's "Grand Loop", using the Rene Levesque and Lachine Canal trails.  Our final Rollerblading day we skate from our hotel across a bridge to Canada's Grand Prix racetrack, which is open to inline skaters when it is not hosting Formula One race cars.

Although you'll be in Canada, you'll feel like you're across the Atlantic. Montreal has a very European flair and your ears will delight in the sounds of the French-speaking population (most of whom will be equally as happy to converse with you in English). The best part is that it is a much shorter plane ride to Montreal than it is to Paris! C'est fantastique!

Accommodations
We spend our first two nights at Villa Bellerive, a charming family run inn on Lac Nomingue in Quebec's Upper Laurentian area. Access to our trail -- Le P'tit Train du Nord -- is right out our front door. Our final nights are in the heart of historic Old Montreal at the SpringHill Suites. It doesn't get any better than this! We can walk or skate everywhere we need to go from here.
