Sonoma County, California is one of the world's premier wine areas. The city of Sonoma is one of the nicest towns in this beautiful region and is the perfect host city for our five-day Camp Rollerblade vacation.
Our Skate Camps have two goals: learn to skate and have fun doing it! Our average skater is 47 years old and we have taught youngsters as old as 71. Because no experience is required to attend this Camp, we have some participants who have never before put on skates and others who have tried them but aren't yet comfortable.
At the Sonoma Skate Camp we have two two-hour instructional sessions each day taught by our professional instructors, who are some of the best in the world at what they do. We have reserved a newly-repaved parking lot exclusively for our use - an ideal place to learn to skate. In addition, we have a nearby paved trail to practice our newly-found skills. When not skating, we enjoy excellent local restaurants, Sonoma's central plaza, and visits to nearby wineries.
While many people are nervous about signing up for five days of learning to skate, trust us when we tell you that you will wish it was longer once you are there! If you are ready to learn to skate or improve your inline skating skills, join us in Sonoma, California for a great active vacation! It is never too late to go to Camp.
Notes
If you have friends or family who want to join you in Sonoma County but who don't wish to learn to skate, the price is $1300. If you live locally but want to join us for the instruction, dinners, and wine tastings, the price is also $1300 without lodging or breakfasts. We do not have an instruction-only option as bonding with other learners at dinner and between instructional classes is a big part of the success of our Skate Camps.
Accommodations
Our lodging for all four nights is at the Sonoma Valley Inn.
This hotel is perfectly situated only one block from the central plaza
and three from our instructional area. The hotel is not fancy,
which allows us to keep our prices reasonable, but has clean rooms with
generous spaces.
